How to Use Gesture Go

Launch Gesture Overlay

There are 2 ways to use Gesture Go, we recommend to use 1. Set Gesture Go as default digital assistant.

1. Use Floating Pill:

If you enable floating pill in Gesture Go, just tap the floating pill to launch gesture overlay.


2.Press Power Button:

If you set Gesture Go as default digital assistant on the device, you can launch the gesture overlay by: - Press Power Button: Press and hold the Power button or try Home button (if using 3-button navigation). - Squeeze (Pixel 2-4): Squeeze the bottom half of your phone. Learn how to squeeze your phone.


  1. Press "Power button" or "Floating pill" to launch Gesture Go overlay;
  2. Circle on screen to capture the object you would like to search.

Gesture To Action

  1. Press "Power button" or "Floating Pill" to launch Gesture Go overlay;
  2. Draw the gesture to launch an action;

Create a Gesture

  1. Tap the "Create" tab in the app to create a new gesture.
  2. Draw the gesture you want to use with your finger.
  3. Select the action you’d like to link to the gesture (e.g., calling a contact, opening an app).
  4. Enter any necessary details for the action, such as phone numbers, system settings, or URLs.
  5. You’re all set! Your new custom gesture is now ready to use.

Add a Gesture From Library

  1. In "ForYou" screen, click the "+" button on the library tab to add all gestures.

Add a Gesture From Library

  1. Click "Library" tab;
  2. Select one of the libaray by clicking it; (Not the '+' icon);
  3. Choose a gesture and click the bookmark icon;

Delete a Gesture

  1. Go to "For you" tab;
  2. Scroll down to the gesture you would like to delete;
  3. Click the "delete" icon to delete it;

Disable a Gesture

  1. Go to "For you" tab;
  2. Scroll down to the gesture you would like to delete;
  3. Click the "bookmark" icon to remove it from your list;


How to Create gesture for Takser

Permission Settings in Tasker

  1. Switch on "Allow External Access" in Tasker settings;
  2. Select "Gesture Go" on popup dialog;
  3. Tap permissions for Gesture Go, -> "Additional permissions", -> "Allow the application to ask Tasker to run both user defined and its own task" -> "Allow"

Create a Tasker gesture

  1. Create a gesture and select Tasker as action;
  2. Select the Tasker action;

Handwriting support

  1. Gesture Go build-in gestures support handwriting recognization, you can write down the app name to launch it.
  2. You can switch to different languges in the settings panel.
